     Submission guidelines
     
    1. Language:  All submitted material shall be written in English.
    2. Title of presentation: Please choose a brief title (maximum of 30 words) that clearly indicates the content of the contribution. Please avoid abbreviations in the title. Abbreviations may be used in the text if they are defined when first used.
    3. Principal author: Name, email, institution, business affiliation (department, school, agency, or company, etc.), city and country. In instances of multiple authorship, the person whose name is selected as "Presenting author" is expected to deliver the presentation, unless otherwise specified.
    4. Co-authors: their names, email, institution/business information, country
    5. Preference: for oral presentation or poster session.
    6. Session: Please choose one of the 6 pillars.
    • Conventional processes including refrigeration, drying, thermal, mechanical etc
    • Emerging processes & hurdles technologies
    • Sustainability, food chain & decarbonisation
    • Process modelling up/down scaling food processes and production units
    • Food performances, properties, digestibility & functionalities
    • Food future, education, innovation and management
    1. Abstract: Please ensure that your abstract contains no more than 350 words. Please avoid diagrams, illustrations, tables, references or graphics in the abstract. Provide maximum relevant information in the abstract and if the subject matter is empirical, the following structure is obligatory: objective, methods, results, conclusions.
    2. You may not attach an image

    IMPORTANT:
    • There are no fees for submitting abstracts
    • Abstracts will be made available to the participants in an electronic form. The author is solely responsible for the ethical and scientific content of the submission as well as for its proper grammatical and stylistic form.
    • The principal author is expected to present the work in-person during the workshop (oral or poster session). In case this is not possible, the primary author may delegate the presentation to one of the co-authors.
     
     Key dates
     
    • Abstract submission is now only possible for posters until further notice. (deadline for orals submissions closed on 17th Oct.)
    • Authors will be notified of the decision of the Scientific Committee by End November, 2022
    • Presenting authors must register for the conference by February 17 March 10, 2023 in order to have the abstract included in the conference program.
